White City Collaborative Care Centre

The Project

Consultation with children and young people
This project focuses on the proposed Collaborative Care Centre (CCC) in White City, on the site of the former Janet Adegoke Centre. The CCC will be the base for the delivery of the Children's Trust services in the north of the borough and the first initiative to deliver integrated health and social care services to children and their families.

The consultation and programme being organised by the Hammersmith & Fulham Urban Studies Centre and funded by Comic Relief is designed to help children and young people:

  • understand the nature and role of the CCC for their community
  • contribute their opinions and ideas to influence the development of the CCC's services
  • communicate their views on the ways in which they would like to access and use these services.

The rest of this website has been designed and developed by children and young people involved in the programme.

Naming the website
The children at Phoenix High had many ideas for the name of this website, but the name with the most votes was W12 New Era with 11 votes. The names that came second were West 12 New Era, mini city and kids of W12. The names that came third were 283 Centre and White City Boomerang. All of us enjoyed finding a name for the website.
