Pope John school was a field in 1935 and from 1965 it was a school.


The Janet Adegoke changed name three times. Open Air Baths, White City Pool and Janet Adegoke. The best ones are the second and the third. They did big changes from the Open Air Baths.

Bloemfontein Road, 1949

In 1896, the area was open land, fields and farms. Old Oak Farm was fields, but now it is just houses and flats.


In the place where fields where, there are big buildings now.


Halsbury and Ellerslie Road are still there 100 years ago.


A school in Ellerslie Road was there. There's still a school but a different school now.


Thorpe Banks has changed into Thorpe Banks Road.


There are brick yards, where bricks were made by digging clay out of the ground.


The brick yards and clay pits have changed to flats.
